In 2015 the Oregon Environmental Council challenged Migration Brewing to brew a beer that had a reduced carbon footprint; they brewed Little Foot Red Ale. This year the OEC and Migration extended the challenge to Hopworks Urban Brewery. The plan centered around bicycling ingredients and beer, further reducing the impact of their beer.
